Jane was born in Vancouver,
British Columbia in 1967. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the
University of Victoria in 1990 and her LL.B. from the University of British
Columbia in 1994. She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1995.
Jane is a member of the Civil Litigation and Insurance sub-sections of the
British Columbia Branch of the Canadian Bar Association.
Her primary
practice area is general civil litigation with a focus on insurance defence.
She has appeared as counsel at the Provincial, Supreme and Appeals levels. Jane
has also acted a numerous mediations.
Outside of the office, Jane
enjoys skiing, sailing, tennis and running. She is a member of the Royal
Vancouver Yacht Club and the Vancouver Lawn Tennis and Badminton Club.
