Brad D.S. Garside was born
in Victoria, British Columbia in 1961. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree
from the University of Victoria in 1984 and his Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie
University in 1987. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1988.
He is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, the
British Columbia Brain Injury Association and the Insurance Law and Civil
Litigation sub-sections of the Canadian Bar Association. Brad is also honourary
counsel for the M.E./F.M. Action Network.
Brad is a licensed pilot and
a member of the Victoria Golf Club. He enjoys music, hiking, skiing, sailing,
golf and kayaking.
Brad's practice is in the area of civil litigation
with an emphasis on plaintiff's personal injury claims and private disability
insurance litigation. He also has experience in general insurance litigation,
mediation, criminal defence, Workers' Compensation and collections.
